Bonus Camping Chair System

The SLP Bonus camping chair system works a little differently than other systems you might have encountered. At first glance, it might seem a little confusing, but once you read through this notecard, you should see they are far more beneficial to the player than other, older and simpler systems. At the bottom are some Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ), which should further clarify how it all works.

First, let’s define some terminology:

=======================================

*Pay Cycles* and *Pay Level*. The SLP System works on “pay cycles” and “pay levels”. Simply put, a pay cycle is the amount of time it takes to update the balance on a camping chair and the pay level is the amount that will be updated on that cycle. Most SLP chairs start with a pay cycle of 10 minutes. There is text on the back of each chair that displays the current Pay Cycle rate as well as the current Pay Level for the chair.

For example, if the chair displays the text “Currently paying L$5 every 9 minutes”, the current Pay Cycle is 9 minutes and the current Pay Level is L$5. Since BOTH the Pay Cycle and the Pay Level can be modified through bonuses this is an important concept to understand for the SLP System.

=======================================

Bonus Awards (what some other places call “multipliers”):

When you play certain SLP games, such as the SLP Bonus Slots, you can get bonus awards that influence the amount of either the Pay Cycle or the Pay Rate (or both). These awards are measured in terms of *amount* and *duration*. Duration of each award is specified in terms of number of pay cycles. For example, you might win a bonus award that increases the Pay Level L$1 for 20 pay cycles. That means that for the next 20 Pay Cycles, the Pay Rate is increased by L$1. You might also get an award that increases the Pay Cycle rate. These are called “Speed Bonuses”. For example, you might receive a speed bonus of 1 minute for 10 cycles. That means that for the next 10 pay cycles, the duration of the cycle is reduced by 1 minute. The total number of cycles each award grants does not change, but the amount of time it takes you to get your reward is reduced. Put simply, you get your total bonus faster.

Each game that is tied in to the SLP Bonus System will clearly define the types of bonuses, how much they are worth and how long they will last (in terms of pay cycles). There is no guesswork on your part: everything is clearly stated.

Key differences between the SLP Bonus System and other places:

1. The SLP Bonus System is designed to provide the maximum bonus to a player in a reasonable amount of time. Other places want to force you to camp for a ridiculously long time to get your bonus, in the hopes you will be logged out or get bored and thus forfeit your bonus. In many cases, owners will boot you from the camping chair if they feel you have won too much.

2. The SLP Bonus System works on “Pay Cycles” instead of fixed time intervals. This is a significant difference because it gives players the opportunity to get their maximum bonus quickly. It is very possible to increase the pay cycles to a maximum speed of 1 minute.

3. Bonus awards in the SLP System do have durations. They are always defined in terms of pay cycles. Some other places also have a vague, undefined “maximum time” for a bonus to be awarded and others advertise that their “multipliers” are for an unlimited amount of time. However, most of these places make you jump through hoops to keep your “multipliers”. You might have to enter a special code periodically or in some cases the casino owner might simply declare you have won too much and boot you from the chair. They give lip service to “unlimited payout” but the reality is often far different.

4. SLP Games themselves have much higher cash payouts for winning combinations than other places. In addition, SLP Games are original (they don’t use trademarked images from RL), and they have actual, visible, game play. Some places use dialog boxes to tell you if you won. WTF is that all about? Are we playing these games on ancient computers? No, we aren’t. We are playing them in a graphical 3d world. It is a matter of personal preference, of course, but I am of the opinion that slots should have spinning reels with visible symbols.

5. Bonus awards are MUCH easier to receive at SLP locations. The SLP games are designed to make it easy to get bonus awards due to the way they are structured (Pay Cycles).

An analysis of Casino Camping Slots, from a casino owner’s perspective:

The basic idea of casino games tied to camping chairs is to give players another way to win, or at least receive part of their money back. Also, casinos want the player to spend time at their place so that they can increase the amount of “traffic” they receive. Traffic helps determine a locations ranking in the “find” tool.

Rule #1: Casino owners are not philanthropists. ALL casino games are designed in such a way that the house will make money over the long run. Be EXTREMELY cautious of any casino that tries to imply that isn’t the case. The big question is “how much are the games in the house favor?” Players who wish to gamble should obviously pick the casinos where they have the best chance of winning. All SLP Bonus games have a payout ratio of at LEAST 90% over the long run. In addition, all SLP games work using pure random numbers. Each play has the exact same chance of winning the jackpot as the one before it. Also, compare the pay charts at SLP locations to those at other places.

The SLP Bonus System is designed to give the maximum payout to players in the minimum amount of time. Ever spent a lot of L$ on slots, win a few multipliers and then realize that you are going to have to camp for 16 hours straight just to break even? Factor into the equation that you might be required to “enter a code” periodically during this time, or that you might reach some poorly defined “limit” and be ejected from the chair. With the SLP System, there are no such limits. The games are fair, with clearly defined payouts and clearly defined bonuses.

Other places give lip service to the player coming first. SLP Casinos actually deliver.

In fact, a few casino owners declined to purchase the SLP System because “it wasn’t profitable enough”. That in itself should tell you something.
