The C-Class Mobile in Second Life The new Avantgarde model with the AMG package is also available in the Mercedes-Benz’ virtual representation at Second Life with coordinates 128.128.11. All the residents of this virtual community may purchase a virtual model of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class for 1,500 Linden Dollars or 4 Euros and virtually test drive it on the challenging track on the Mercedes-Benz Island.
With great success Mercedes-Benz presented the virtual design of the new C class in Second Life. On March 16 2007 finally everything was ready. The event was duly celebrated with a premier party on Mercedes-Benz Island.
Right at the start of the evening at 8 pm (CET) many guests had already arrived to witness presentation of the new C class. Mercedes Milestone was moderator for the evening and provided short descriptions of the virtual edition of the C class. After the presentation many guests took the opportunity of going on a test run and trying out the configuration of the vehicle.
